Found a way to speed through slow parts of shows without losing the plot
Last Tuesday I was watching a 10 episode series on Netflix and kept getting bored during the filler episodes around episode 5 and 6. I started playing them at 1.5x speed while reading a recap on my phone. Still caught the important bits and saved about 3 hours across the whole season. Anybody else do this or have a better trick for getting through the slow stretches?

That's totally a valid approach but I see it differently. Rushing through a show means you're missing the mood and pacing the creators carefully built to tell the story.
