Can we talk about the friend who told me to skip recap episodes
Honestly, my buddy Mark swore I'd save 10 hours by skipping all the recap episodes in The Expanse. I tried it for season 2 and missed a whole subplot about Protogen's testing sites. Ended up rewinding 3 times trying to piece together why a character betrayed everyone. Has anyone else gotten bad advice about skipping stuff in a show?

Can't believe anyone would seriously skip recaps in a show that dense.

Why does missing one subplot from some recaps ruin the whole show for you? People act like you can't just look up a quick summary online if you're lost. @piperr58 is right that The Expanse is dense, but it's not a college course. Plenty of recaps are just flashy filler, not crucial info. I'd rather take my chances skipping and save the time.
