Always skipped the opening credits until episode 6 of Dark

I made it five episodes of Dark thinking the show was just confusing on purpose, then my friend made me watch the intro and I realized the music and visuals explain the whole timeline thing. Now I have to go back and rewatch everything with that context. Anyone else miss something obvious because you skipped intros?

The whole point of good storytelling is that it works without a guidebook or a flowchart. If the show needs you to sit through the credits to make sense of it, then the show already failed.
