When I Accidentally Superglued My Hand to a Ham Sandwich Last Tuesday
Last Tuesday I was rushing to make lunch before a 1pm Zoom call and grabbed what I thought was a tube of mayo from the drawer. It was superglue. I squeezed it right onto the bread, put my left hand down on the counter to steady myself, and my palm got stuck to the crust. I had to do the entire call with a ham and glue sandwich fused to my hand, nodding along like everything was normal while my cat stared at me from the doorway. My coworker finally asked why I was holding a sandwich during a budget review and I just said 'lunch meeting' and hung up. Has anyone else ever had to explain a kitchen disaster to their boss without sounding completely insane?
