Warning: threw $150 into a meal prep delivery trial and got 3 sad salads

Signed up for a 2 week trial last month in Austin and forgot to cancel before the auto renew hit my card for the full month. Anybody else get burned by those free trial traps or am I just the only one dumb enough to fall for it?

Man, they really got us with the fine print, I bet half those salads went straight to the trash anyway!

Wait, @river_hall44, I gotta push back a little there. The health department actually posted the numbers last week, and the food rescue folks reported that almost 90% of the leftover salads were picked up by shelters before close. The real problem was the people who grabbed a salad AND a burger just cause it was bundled, that's where the waste came from. I saw a dude toss a whole untouched cobb salad in the bin right next to the donation box, it was painful. But the restaurants did work with the volunteers, they just didn't advertise it well. So yeah, the fine print was sneaky, but the system wasn't as broken as it looked.
