The time I ruined a $200 batch of paint by shaking the wrong one

Last month I was painting my living room in Denver and grabbed two cans that looked identical. I shook one for like 5 minutes before realizing it was the primer, not the paint color. The color was supposed to be 'Soft Sage' and I ended up with a streaky nightmare on my accent wall. Had to pay a guy $150 to come fix it and repaint the whole thing. Now I tape a note to each can before I start. Has anyone else mixed up paint cans and regretted it?

Taped a note to a can of white paint once and then accidentally taped it to the wrong can anyway.
