Serious question, a client told me my crew's prep work was sloppy and it stung more than any bad review
Got a call 5 weeks ago from a homeowner in Beaverton after we wrapped a repaint on her 1920s craftsman. She didn't yell. She just said, "I paid for the prep, not the paint, and the prep is what I can see." Then she walked me to three spots where caulk lines were uneven and a patch job still showed texture under the new coat.
I wanted to argue. Instead I started taking photos of every job at the halfway point and sending them to the client before we spray. Weird thing is, two people have already caught small stuff in those photos that would have bugged them later. So it works.
Anyone else get a piece of feedback that stung but actually fixed a blind spot?
