Rant: my barber in Worcester said my 'quick trim' was the 3rd mullet he fixed that week
I sat in his chair last Friday and mentioned I'd been cutting my own hair for 14 months to save $35 a pop, and he just laughed and pointed at the back of my head in the mirror. He asks every walk-in one question now, "did you do this yourself?" and the answer is yes way more than it should be. I did the math sitting there and I'd put roughly $490 back in my own pocket over that stretch, which felt great right up until I saw the shape of my neckline. He fixed it in 20 minutes and charged me $25, then gave me a free lesson on where to stop with the clippers so I never end up back in his chair this bad. Has anyone else tried a home cut and had to go get rescued, or did you just wear a hat for 3 months like I nearly did?
