My 30th birthday party ended with me locked out of my own apartment in Phoenix
I planned this big rooftop thing with like 40 people, paid $200 for a DJ who only played polka remixes after I specifically said no polka. Then I lost my keys somewhere between the third margarita and the cake cutting, so I spent two hours sitting on my own doorstep in July heat waiting for a locksmith. The worst part? My neighbor saw me through the peephole and just waved, didn't even offer water. Finally got in at 2am and realized the lock was never broken, the door was just stuck from the humidity. Has anyone else had a celebration turn into a survival challenge like that, or was I just extra cursed that night?
