I glued my fingers together 20 minutes before a job interview and nail polish remover got me out
Last Tuesday I was trying to patch a cracked phone case with super glue at my kitchen table in Akron, and of course I squeezed the tube too hard and glued my thumb and index finger into one solid lump. My interview was at 2pm, it was 1:40, and I was already wearing my one good shirt. My roommate yelled from the other room to soak it in nail polish remover, so I dumped half a bottle of acetone into a cereal bowl and sat there wiggling my fingers for about 90 seconds until they came apart. I made it to the office with 4 minutes to spare, but my hand smelled like a salon for the rest of the day. Has anyone found a better unsticking method for the next time I do something this dumb?
