I gave a presentation to the wrong department in Cleveland last month

I had my quarterly sales review scheduled for 2 PM in the B-wing conference room. But the email chain mixed up the dates, and I walked into a new-hire orientation with 30 people staring at me. I went ahead and did my whole 20-minute slideshow about Q3 targets before someone finally spoke up. The sales manager was in the other building the whole time, and I had to redo it the next day. Has anyone else presented to the wrong crowd and just went with it?

Kept going for 20 whole minutes, that is gutsy. I probably would have froze up and backed out of the room. At least you got the practice in and the redo the next day was probably a breeze. That new hire crowd got a free lesson in sales targets they never asked for.
