Finally hit 30 puzzle pieces in my 5000 piece mountain scene after 6 failed starts
I've been working on this 5000 piece jigsaw of the Grand Tetons since January and kept quitting after 20 or so pieces because the sky sections all look the same. Last night I actually finished the entire top border, which is 100 pieces of solid blue, and I sat there staring at it like I'd won the lottery. My wife walked by and said "that's it?" but she doesn't get that the sky almost broke me 3 separate times. The trick was sorting by shade first instead of shape, which took 2 tries to figure out. Anyone else have a hobby where a tiny win feels way bigger than it should?
