Can we talk about judging people for buying pre-chopped vegetables

My buddy Mark called me a lazy idiot for buying pre-diced onions at the store last week. He went on a whole rant about how I'm wasting money and supporting bad habits, but I work 60 hour weeks and had just finished a 14 hour shift. Has anyone else had someone make you feel bad for a choice that just makes your life easier?

Tell Mark he can have his raw onion tears and his dignity, but I'll take my extra 10 minutes of sleep. Pre-chopped vegetables are just paying the laziness tax, and sometimes that tax is worth every penny. Besides, the only thing worse than paying for pre-diced onions is paying for a therapy bill after listening to someone lecture you about onions.

Always figured the real move is just buying whole onions and using a cheap slap chop or something. Takes like 30 seconds and you don't get the weird slimy texture from the pre-cut stuff that's been sitting in a bag for a week. Plus those pre-chopped onions always have that one piece of rotten onion that ruins the whole batch... not worth the gamble. I'll take the 10 minutes once a week to chop a bunch and freeze them myself. Actually saves time in the long run.
