Backed my trailer into the same garage door twice in one week in Nashville
After 11 years of hauling equipment I never once clipped a door, then suddenly I hit the same dented panel two times within 5 days. Turns out my new truck has a longer bed and I kept using my old turning point instead of adjusting for it. Anyone else switch vehicles and have their muscle memory betray them in an expensive way?

That "muscle memory betray them" part hits hard. So how did you finally catch it? Was it a gut feeling right before the second hit, or did you have to get out and measure the distance with a tape to realize the bed was longer? I'm asking because I feel like my brain would've blamed the wind or a bad angle before ever suspecting my own habits.
