Went with the handheld cable cutter over the bench mount and kinda regret it now

Had to replace all the shift housing on a customer's touring bike last Thursday and couldn't decide between a Park Tool CN-10 or just using my old snippers. Picked the handheld cutter because I thought it'd be faster for 4 cables, but the frayed ends made my ferrules pop off twice. Any of you guys swear by the bench mount for shop work or am I just bad at holding the tool steady?

Honestly, my buddy had the same frustration at his shop and ended up just clamping his handheld cutter in a vise, worked way better than he expected. Ngl, that bench mount is probably the move if you're doing it daily.
