Unpopular opinion: I was wrong about threadlocker on derailleur limit screws

Used to think it was overkill, but after a customer's Ultegra derailleur shifted into the spokes twice in a month, I started using a tiny drop of blue Loctite. Anyone else have a fix for screws that just won't stay put?

Seems like a pretty rare problem to need threadlocker for that.

Actually, what if it's not about the bolt coming loose? Maybe threadlocker keeps it from backing out just enough to mess with a sensor reading or alignment.

Tried blue loctite on my truck's trans sensor bolt and it actually fixed a weird hiccup I was getting at highway speeds. Never thought a tiny bit of threadlocker could mess with sensor readings like that.
