Am I the only one who picks grease over anti-seize for pedal threads?

Every mechanic I know swears by anti-seize on pedals, but after 12 years in the shop I still use Phil Wood grease and never had a seized pedal come back. Anyone else run grease and stick with it through the hate?

Do you think the people who swear by anti-seize are mostly pro mechanics who just like the habit, or is there something about your climate or riding style that makes grease actually work better for you? I've heard the anti-seize crowd say grease dries out over time, but I've never had that problem on my bike. Curious if you're in a dry area too or maybe you just never leave pedals on long enough for it to matter.

Right there with you, man. Grease has never let me down and it feels like people overthink this whole thing way too much.

Is it really that deep though? @bettywilson I swear half these guys act like they're diffusing a bomb every time they touch a pedal wrench.
