Paid $2 for a busted clock at a garage sale in Reno and learned most thrift store clocks just need one thing
Bought a dead alarm clock for $2 at a garage sale off Wells Ave in Reno. Took the back off and found the battery contact was bent, not broken. A guy at a repair cafe showed me that 8 out of 10 clocks people toss just have corroded or bent contacts. Anyone else save stuff from the trash this easy?
