Threw $60 down the drain on a 'miracle' clipper oil that gummed up my blades in a week

Saw this fancy oil on Instagram, swore it would make my clippers glide like butter. First cut after using it, the blade started smoking and I had to stop mid-haircut to clean everything out. Anyone else get burned by one of these overhyped barber products?

Bought a "premium blade lubricant" from a Facebook ad that turned my clippers into a sticky mess, had to scrape gunk off for an hour. Reminds me of the time I fell for a "pro-level" beard trimmer that sounded like a lawnmower on fire after two uses. Honestly, at this point I'm just gonna stick with plain mineral oil and hope for the best lmao.

See this all the time with random Facebook ads for grooming stuff. People slap a fancy label on basic products and charge triple the price for something that works worse than what your grandpa used.
