The chair height chart on the wall finally made sense to me today

I was cleaning up after a 10 am cut at my shop in Toledo when I spotted this old poster from 1998 about correct chair heights. It had a simple ratio, like 1 inch off the floor for every 4 inches of customer height, which I never really thought about. Turns out I've been eyeballing it for 12 years, and my regulars with longer necks were getting slightly different angles than they should have. Anyone else ever check those old training charts and realize they've been doing it different this whole time?
