That Tuesday I had zero walk-ins and still made rent in 4 hours

Last Tuesday was dead quiet until 2pm. Then three guys came in back to back, all wanted skin fades with hard parts. Walked out with $180 in my pocket by 6pm. Anyone else ever have a random slow day turn into a banger?

Man, that's the barber life in a nutshell. Had a Wednesday last fall where I was honestly thinking about closing early, just sat there scrolling my phone for two hours. Then a whole lacrosse team rolls in after practice, five kids all needing the same high-and-tight with a line up. Knocked them out in three hours flat and walked with $275. Days like that make you realize the universe just throws cash at you when you least expect it.

Oh wow, that's a pretty wild swing from dead silence to a full team walk-in. Did you ever figure out if there's a pattern to when those unexpected big groups show up, or does it always feel totally random? I'm always curious if it's tied to sports schedules or just pure luck of the draw.
