That old timer who told me to use clipper oil on my trimmers every single day was right
I kept skipping it, figured once a week was fine. After 2 months my Wahl Magic Clips started pulling and snagging on thin spots. Had to replace the blade set last week for 30 bucks. Now I oil them every morning before my first cut. Anyone else learn that lesson the hard way?

I mean, maybe it's just me but I've gone months without oiling my trimmers and they still cut fine. I got a pair of Andis Masters like three years ago and I think I've oiled them maybe four times total. Never had any snagging or pulling issues. If your blades are that fragile after two months of light oiling, sounds like maybe the quality isn't what it used to be or you're pressing too hard. Not everyone needs to baby their tools like they're made of glass.

Guess I'm the only one who treats my trimmers better than myself, @willow_garcia.
