Overheard a client say his old barber used cold water for the final rinse

Tried it on my last three cuts and the hair felt way cleaner and less static. Has anyone else messed with water temp during the finish?

Cold water fixes everything from hair to laundry, honestly lol

Cold water fixes everything" - yeah, until you're dealing with greasy pans or blood stains on a white shirt. Nobody talks about how cold water makes oil-based stains set like concrete in fabric. I've seen people ruin expensive shirts trying to get food grease out because they used cold water first. Hot water breaks down oils way better for laundry, but for hair, cold is legit for sealing cuticles. It's not a one-size-fits-all thing, but people treat it like magic.
