I thought those scalp massagers were just a gimmick for the shop

A regular brought his own in and insisted I use it before his fade. After trying it on three clients, I saw way less redness and the hair laid flatter, especially around the crown. Anyone have a brand they actually trust for this?

Check the bristle material" is good advice but honestly, the handle matters way more for daily use. I've had brushes with great bristles but a terrible grip that made my hand cramp up. A comfy handle you can use for an hour straight beats fancy bristles that you hate holding.
