Finally switched to a magnetic guard system after 12 years

I found out last week from a post on a barber forum that magnetic guards don't slip or fall off during a cut like the clip-on kind do. A guy in the comments broke down how he saved 20 minutes per day not having to reattach guards that popped loose. I ordered a set from Walmart for $30 on Tuesday and tried them on my first three clients yesterday. Has anyone else made the switch and noticed a difference in their speed?

That magnetic thing is wild, it's like the universe finally aligned for barbers lol. It reminds me how everything in life gets these little upgrades that nobody asks for until suddenly everyone's using them and wondering how they survived before.

Hold up @nelson.cameron, you're kind of right about upgrades but barbers have been using magnetic guards for a while now. It's not some new thing that just dropped, more like a tool that's been sitting in the corner of the shop for years. Still beats the old clip-on systems though, those things always popped off at the worst time.
