Clipper blade caught a guy's ear in Springfield last Tuesday

I was doing a fade and my Andis blade slipped on the zero gap and nicked him right behind the ear. Had to stop everything, apologize, and offer a free neck shave next visit. Has anyone else had a blade catch in a weird spot and have to smooth it over with the client?

Three days later he showed up at my door with a six pack and a shovel. I'm not kidding, he said he wanted to help me dig up the old rose bushes in the front yard. That was his big plan to make up for everything, yard work. We ended up sitting on the curb till midnight just talking about stupid stuff from high school. That's when I knew he was actually trying, not just saying the right words to shut me up.
