Why does nobody talk about how a simple direct deposit switch can mess up your whole week?
Honestly, my new job's payroll sent my first check to my old, closed checking account last Friday, so I spent all Monday on hold with two different banks trying to get it rerouted, which meant I was late on my rent payment in Denver for the first time ever.
