Took me 7 years to realize I was keying transactions wrong

I was at my local credit union last month, and the teller asked why my check deposits always had a 2 day hold. I told her that's just how it worked. She looked at my account and said I had been selecting 'business check' instead of 'personal check' the whole time. I had no idea that one dropdown option made such a difference. Has anyone else missed something simple like that for years?

Oh man, that is such an easy mistake to make! I bet a ton of people have done the same thing without even thinking about it. It's crazy how one little dropdown option can completely change how your money gets handled. At least now you know and you won't have to wait those extra days anymore!
