Showerthought: That time my bank app glitched and showed $0 balance

Standing in line at a coffee shop downtown. Opened my banking app to pay. Balance showed $0.00. Pure panic for about 10 seconds before I refreshed it. Then it showed the correct amount. Called customer service later and they said it was a server refresh issue. Has anyone else had their app freak out like that mid-transaction?

Has anyone else noticed how these little tech glitches always happen at the worst possible times? It's like the universe has a weird sense of humor with us. I had something similar happen when I was trying to pay for gas once and my card got declined for no reason. Honestly, I feel like we're all just one bad app refresh away from a full-blown panic attack these days. It makes me wonder if we've gotten too comfortable relying on our phones for everything, or if it's just me being paranoid.
