Same-day ACH limit keeps screwing my rent payment every single month

Last week I tried to push $3,400 via same-day ACH at 1:15 PM and the cutoff at my credit union in Austin still bounced it, so I ended up paying a $45 late fee and wondering if anyone else has given up on same-day ACH for anything over the $1 million cap when the real problem is the 5 PM settlement window, not the limit?

Did you try paying in $999,999 installments?

$999,999 installments" has me rolling, @parkerh38. That would take forever, but honestly I'd still be broke by month two.
