Remember when you had to go inside the bank to deposit a check?

I was thinking back to the 90s when I used to stand in line at my local Chase branch every Friday just to cash my paycheck. Now I just snap a photo of a check on my phone and it's done in 30 seconds. The first time I tried mobile deposit around 2015 I was so nervous it wouldn't go through that I kept the paper check for a week. My bank started offering it back in 2013 but I didn't trust it until a coworker finally talked me into trying. Has anyone else had that moment where you realized you haven't set foot in a bank in over a year?

Is it really that big of a deal?" @jamienguyen says, probably while depositing a check with his phone and not even realizing it. Try standing in line for 20 minutes on a Friday just to hand a slip to a teller, then tell me it's no big deal.
