My credit union teller in Spokane said she hasn't seen a paper deposit slip in 2 years
She said most folks under 40 just tap their phone at the drive-thru window now, and I realized I hadn't written a check since my landlord in Boise asked for one back in 2021. Kind of wild that I used to balance a paper register every Sunday and now I check an app instead. Does anyone still keep a paper backup of their deposits, or am I just old for thinking about it?
