Just realized my bank's app broke on the day rent was due

Last Friday around 5pm I tried to pay my rent through my bank's mobile app and it just kept spinning. I restarted my phone, reinstalled the app, still nothing. Ended up having to drive to a branch 20 minutes away before they closed at 6 to do a cashier's check. Has anyone else's bank app crapped out right when you need it most?

Banks are so bad at this lol. Mine froze up last month when I was trying to move money to cover a car payment. Had to call their support line and sat on hold for 45 minutes before they told me the app was down for everyone but they didn't have an ETA. Wish they'd just put a banner up somewhere saying hey our stuff is broken instead of letting us stare at a loading circle.

Henry nailed it with the loading circle bit. I was watching that thing spin for a full 10 minutes like it was some kind of meditation exercise. The best part is when you finally give up and call customer service they act surprised anyone would try paying bills with their app.
