Hit $10k in transaction fees last quarter and it finally clicked

I run a small online store and was just letting Stripe eat 2.9% plus 30 cents on every sale without thinking about it. After hitting $10k in fees last quarter I finally sat down and added up the numbers - that's almost a full month of rent just gone. Has anyone else had a moment where the fee math suddenly hit you hard?

Read a piece a while back that said most people don't realize how fast those tiny fees add up. They compared it to paying a whole extra employee every year just for processing. Once you see it as a real dollar amount instead of a percentage it gets painful fast.

Nah, that's just the cost of doing business and getting paid instantly.
