Google Pay told me I paid 47 cents to a cemetery in Ohio. I did not do that.
Checked my statement last Tuesday and there it was, Google Pay transaction for SWEET REST CEMETERY, COLUMBUS OH, 47 cents. I live in Phoenix. Never been to Ohio. Called my bank, they said it might be a test transaction from a scammer checking if the card is live. So someone out there used my debit card to test a burial plot purchase. Of all the things to trial a stolen card with, a cemetery charge for under a buck? That's either hilarious or morbid. Has anyone else had weird tiny test charges come through? How did you get them resolved without replacing the whole card?
