The old man who showed me Saturn's rings through his Dobsonian
Had a neighbor back in 2018, Mr. Henderson, who let me look through his homemade 12 inch Dobsonian one clear November night. He just pointed at a faint dot and said "now look close, that's not a star" and sure enough I saw those rings clear as day. Anyone else have a moment like that where someone's simple gear just blew you away?
