That perfect night in Flagstaff got ruined by a neighbor's new floodlight
The Milky Way was crystal clear until they switched on a 5000-lumen LED aimed right at my yard. Has anyone else had to deal with a sudden, permanent light source wrecking their spot?

Man, that's the worst. My old apartment had a streetlight that felt like a prison searchlight right into my bedroom. Ended up using blackout curtains and still saw a glow around the edges. Makes you miss simple darkness. Some people just have no clue about light pollution.

Ever notice how people just accept this stuff without question? Once you start paying attention to it, it's wild how much light pollution messes with sleep and wildlife.
