Heads up about light pollution at Cherry Springs State Park
I drove out to Cherry Springs last weekend and noticed the parking lot lights were left on until almost 11pm, totally ruining the dark sky view. Did anyone else catch that or was it just a one-time thing?

Tbh I checked the PA DCNR website before my trip and they said lot lights are supposed to be off by 9pm during peak season. So 11pm is definitely not normal. Ngl I think someone probably forgot to flip the switch or the timer is messed up. Honestly the park manager is pretty responsive if you email them directly I had a similar issue last year with the bathroom lights and they fixed it within a week. Might be worth dropping them a quick note so they know it happened.
