Found a free app that tells you exactly when the ISS flies over your house

I kept missing the space station because I'd forget to check the NASA website. Then my buddy told me about this app called ISS Detector. You set your location once and it gives you a notification like 10 minutes before it passes. Finally saw it streaking across the sky last Tuesday night with my kids. Has anyone else tried it or found something better for tracking satellites?

Have you tried turning off the app's battery saver settings? That fixed my notification issues.

I actually use ISS Detector too and the notification thing isn't really a battery saver issue on most phones. The app has a separate setting specifically for "pass reminders" in the pass times menu that you have to turn on manually. I missed a couple passes because I thought the notifications would just work out of the box. Once I found that setting though it's been spot on for the last month or so, even caught the station doing a bright flare one time which was wild.
