Why does nobody mention hanging a cabbage in the coop for bored hens
My 6 hens started feather pecking each other last winter when they were stuck inside during that ice storm in Springfield, and I tried extra scratch, toys, everything. Finally hung a whole cabbage from a string at beak height and they destroyed it in 2 days flat, no more pecking. Anyone else got cheap boredom busters that actually work?
