Visited a fancy organic farm last weekend and their chickens were eating fermented feed, never heard of that before.
The farmer said it helps with digestion and egg quality, but I'm wondering if that's just another trend or if it's worth the extra effort for my little flock of 5 Rhode Island Reds?

Heck yeah, I switched to fermented feed last year and my birds have NEVER been healthier.

3 of my neighbors started doing it after seeing how much calmer my flock got, and @mark_cooper is proof that the old ways of raising birds had some real wisdom we forgot about lol.
