Took me 3 full months to figure out why my hens stopped laying in the coop I built myself
Turns out the new LED light I installed was flickering at a frequency only chickens can see and it stressed them out so bad they wouldn't even go near the nesting boxes has anyone else dealt with invisible light issues messing up their flock?

Guess that's one way to get your birds to go on a silent protest... maybe they were unionizing over the lighting conditions

Whoa, I gotta say I'm not totally buying this one. I've been keeping chickens for about 8 years now and I've used all kinds of LED lights in my coops without a single issue. Chickens are pretty tough birds and they deal with way more stress from weather changes or predators than some flickering light bulb could cause. Maybe your hens stopped laying because of something else, like a change in feed or maybe they were just molting around that time. I think you might be overthinking this and blaming the wrong thing.

A buddy of mine @joelp81 actually had the same thing happen last fall but it turned out his feed was moldy.
