That time an old timer told me I was overfeeding my hens and wasting money on scratch grains
He said 'your birds are getting fat and lazy, cut the scratch to twice a week and watch 'em free range better.' I slashed my feed bill from $25 a month to $12 after that, and my eggs got way bigger.

Seriously though, I once had a guy at the park tell me my cockatiel was "clearly stressed" because she was whistling too much (which is, you know, her favorite thing to do). I just stood there holding her while she preened my ear like I was her personal spa attendant. Felt like I should have handed him a clipboard with her daily mood chart and a crayon drawing she made.
