My neighbor's two words fixed my coop ventilation problem
Last spring I had 14 birds and constant moisture buildup inside the coop, no matter how many vents I added. My neighbor, a retired farmer, took one look and said 'heat rises.' I switched to a ridge vent near the peak and added soffit gaps for intake, and the condensation disappeared within a week. Has anyone else found that simple airflow direction beats fancy exhaust fans?

Wait, isn't it more that warm air holds more moisture than cold? The ridge vent works because it lets that damp warm air escape, but the direction part is more about pressure than temperature. Did you seal up the old vents when you added the new setup?
