My neighbor's simple question made me rethink my whole setup

Last week my neighbor Bob saw me hauling water buckets to the coop for the 3rd time that morning and asked if I'd ever tried a nipple waterer. I laughed it off but then he showed me his rig with a 5 gallon bucket and 4 nipples, cost him maybe $12 total. I spent 2 years carrying water twice a day during the summer and never once thought about it. Now I've got the same setup running and honestly I feel kinda dumb it took someone else pointing it out. Anyone else had a 'why didn't I think of that' moment with their chicken gear?
