My hen Nugget got her foot tangled in a tomato cage and I had to cut her out at 6am
I was filling their waterer in the backyard when I heard flapping and found her stuck by one toe in the wire, so I wrapped her in a towel, snipped two rungs with pliers, and she walked it off fine in an hour. Now I keep those cages stacked in the shed, but does anyone have a better barrier idea for a small run that still lets them scratch?
