I thought chicken diapers were a silly joke until my Buff Orpington got sick.
My vet in Springfield said to keep her inside for a week, and a friend lent me one of those cloth contraptions. It kept my living room clean and let her rest comfortably, which I never expected. Has anyone else had a chicken need indoor recovery time and found a good solution?

Actually @rosel50 I think pets are way more forgiving than people give them credit for. "Never forgive me" sounds dramatic but chickens literally forget things in like 30 seconds (trust me, I've watched mine peck at my shoe then immediately wander off). My own hen squawks at me when I'm late with treats but she's always ready to forgive for a handful of mealworms. Maybe your chicken just holds a grudge because you're not bribing her hard enough, Noah.
