DAE think free-ranging chickens hurts more than helps the land?
Everyone says letting chickens roam is great for the environment, but mine tore up the soil and ate all the good bugs. I switched to a fenced run that I move around, and my yard's actually recovering now.

Free range chickens eat less bugs over time.

My chickens turned my yard into a dirt patch when they roamed free too. Moving a fenced run around lets them scratch and eat without overdoing it in one area, you know? The ground really does bounce back when they're not on it all the time.
