Spent 4 hours leveling a prefab shed base and still got a gap

I bought one of those plastic shed base kits from the big box store thinking it would be a quick afternoon job. Leveling the ground took me two hours alone because my yard has a slight slope nobody warned me about. Then I spent another two hours shoving gravel under the corners and checking with a level like a maniac. When I finally got the shed on top, there's still a half inch gap under one side that bugs me every time I look at it. I stuffed some shims under the frame but the door already sticks a little when it rains. How does anyone get these things perfectly flat without renting a mini excavator?

And that plastic base flexes too. I used one of those kits. Thought I was being smart. The gaps shift with frost heave every spring. You end up shimming it again and again. Should have just poured a slab.

Did you ever check if the plastic base was sitting flat on the ground before the shed went on? Because mine had a slight bow in the middle from the factory, and no amount of gravel was fixing that.
