My neighbor's comment about my fence gap saved my gate from sagging
Been building a cedar fence around my yard in Portland for the last 3 weekends. I had this one gate that kept dragging on the ground after rain, and I couldn't figure out why. My neighbor Bill walked over and said 'your diagonal brace is going the wrong way, it should push up from the hinge side.' Swapped it in about 20 minutes with a 2x4 and some screws, gate swings perfect now. Anyone else had a simple fix like that save a whole afternoon of rework?

Ha, classic neighbor save! Good thing he caught it before you had to tear the whole thing apart.
